TERMS OF SERVICE OF THE VALLE DE TOBALINA HOSTEL

1. PURPOSE OF THE CONTRACT
This document governs the terms and conditions under which Hostal Valle de Tobalina (hereinafter, “the Hostel”) provides its accommodation and complementary services to its guests (hereinafter, “the Client”).
By making a reservation, registering, or using any of the Hostel's services, the Client expressly accepts these Terms of Service.
2. RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENT METHODS
2.1 Reservation Confirmation
A reservation is considered confirmed when the Client:
Makes the corresponding payment according to the chosen method.
Receives an official confirmation by email or message from the Hostel.
2.2 Refund Options
The Hostel offers three rate options:
Non-refundable
No cancellations or changes allowed.
No refund will be given in case of no-show.
Fully refundable
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before arrival.
Cancellations made after this time will incur a charge for the first night.
Partially refundable
50% refund if canceled at least 72 hours in advance.
No refund will be given for cancellations made after this deadline.
2.3 Payment Methods
Accepted payment methods:
Credit/debit card
Bank transfer
Cash payments upon check-in
Other electronic payment methods are accepted upon request at reception.
3. CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
3.1 Check-in Times
Check-in: from 3:00 PM
Check-out: until 11:00 AM
Any early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
3.2 Required Documentation
The Guest must present:
Valid identification document
Booking information
Payment method to cover additional charges
4. USE OF FACILITIES
4.1 Guest Conduct
The Guest agrees to:
Maintain respectful behavior towards other guests and staff.
Use the facilities responsibly.
Not cause any damage to the Hostel.
Any intentional or negligent damage will be the Guest's responsibility and they must be compensated.
4.2 Internal Rules
The Guest must comply with the internal rules displayed at reception, including:
Smoking is prohibited in rooms.
Pet policy (whether pets are allowed or not).
Proper use of common areas.
5. PRIVACY POLICY
The Hostel will collect and process the Guest's personal data only for:
Managing the booking and stay.
Comply with legal obligations (traveler registration, invoicing, etc.)
Improve the service experience.
Data will be processed in accordance with current data protection legislation.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
6.1 Personal belongings
The Hostel is not responsible for:
Loss or theft of personal belongings left in rooms or common areas.
Damage to vehicles parked outside of supervised areas.
A valuables storage service is offered when available.
6.2 Force majeure
The Hostel will not be liable for service interruptions caused by:
Power outages
Extreme weather conditions
Situations beyond the reasonable control of management
7. MODIFICATION OF TERMS
The Hostel reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated versions will be published on our website.
8. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
This contract is governed by Spanish law.
Any dispute arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the province of Burgos.
